NEWPORT BEACH, CA: Online backup is a modern way to keep digital data secure. Streamlining this technology, the backup and management service provider, CloudBerry introduces an update to its CloudBerry Backup solution. The latest release comes fully charged for automatic online backup of any amount of encrypted or compressed data and support for additional cloud storage providers.
This improvisation brings a complete redesigned interface enabling users to take a snapshot of all or selected volumes, including entire operating system, system state and all application configurations associated with it and save it as a single image file.
The image based backup solution doesn’t depend on local drive for space; it rather sends the data directly to the cloud. Users are now allowed to backup not only a system disk but also entire hard drive volume from the system.
The tool facilitates recovering system data to a new computer with dissimilar hardware without depending on its hardware configuration. It also restores directly from cloud or USB flash drive to dissimilar hardware or Hyper-V, VMware virtual machines.
The software enables block-level backups by making a full backup of selected files, and further monitoring the modification of files. It then identifies the modified files and uploads them to the cloud storage according to the backup schedule.
Other key enhancements added to the image based backup solution includes support for Azure File Storage, Microsoft OneDrive, Oracle Storage Cloud Service, Keystone v3 authentication, and an option to skip locked files. It also supports Windows Vista/7/8/10 desktop operating systems as well as Windows server 2003/2008/2012.
