FREMONT, CA: Jive, provider of communication and collaboration solutions for businesses, has collaborated with Egnyte, provider of Adaptive Enterprise File Services for businesses, to help customers with simple Data Management Options.
Both the companies have integrated to enable greater collaboration across the whole enterprise data environment. However, this is not an M&A-style consolidation move, reports Rachel King for Between the Lines.
The partnership connects their respective cloud-based services. Under this, Jive is going to help Egnyte in collaborating with multiple productivity offerings from Google, Microsoft and others; while, Egnyte will bring secure, application-based file access and orchestration to the Jive platform.
By enabling their customers to integrate on content stored in Egnyte while within Jive from any device or location. It comes with edits and save options to sync up in real time, so that mishaps or doubling up of work won’t happen.
Accessible through Jive’s QuickStart promo, the Jive-Egnyte integration includes of a turnkey Intranet with collaboration, productivity and social features optimized for desktop and mobile channels.
