It is usually misbelieved that cloud services provide 24/7 security experts for the data and makes them risk-free. Cloud services have their own set of risks that are unique to the operating environment.

Fremont, CA: With the world going digitalized with various technologies, it is worth to mention about cloud computing, which, with its on-demand self-service, software as a service, broad network access, and much more is driving the world crazy.

As more and more businesses are resorting to the services of the cloud and expanding their area of service, it is essential to assess and align the specific needs of the business and finding the appropriate cloud vendor. Any negligence in estimating the cloud computing risk may result in a blunder for the company.

Tech-giants like IBM, Amazon, Google, SAP, and Salesforce provide formats of IT service that offer users some considerable advantages over old-school and traditional on-premise data centers.

It is usually misbelieved that cloud services provide 24/7 security experts for the data and make them risk-free. Cloud services have their own set of risks that are unique to the operating environment of the cloud provider. But it should not be taken into consideration that risks are not associated with the traditional data centers.

Hence it is very important to understand the risks associated with the cloud and managing them. It is equally important to know that the cloud is not a monolithic concept, hence vary the way it is used and by whom. There are different cloud computing configurations for different users and different requirements.

Different configurations include private clouds, which are hosted internally and used by one particular organization; public clouds, which are available commercially for the general public; community cloud, which is available for a specific group of users, and hybrid clouds which are a combination of two or more such arrangements of the cloud. All these arrangements have their distinct policies, prices, and resources.

With arrangements, they offer different computing services too, like Information as a Service or IaaS, controls user access to computing resources – storage, network and server, and so on, which are owned by the client. Platform as a Service, or PaaS, control user access to the operating software and services needed to develop new applications. The third and important cloud operations product is Software as a Service, or SaaS, which gives users direct access to the client's software applications.
