FREMONT, CA: Oracle enhances its ‘Cloud platform for Integration,’ a suite of integration services to simplify application and service integration across cloud and on-premises applications, mobile, and IoT devices.

The key features of Oracle Integration Cloud Service include: pre-built integration and recommendations; adapters for social media, SaaS and on-premises integration; and on-premises agent to provide secure connection from the data center to the cloud. The suite of integration services comprises of Oracle IoT Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SOA Cloud, and Oracle API Manager Cloud.

The Oracle Cloud Platform, a Platform as a Service or PaaS offering, provides a shared and elastically scalable platform for consolidation of existing applications and new application development and deployment.

Using the integrated cloud platform, customers can securely connect to any device to generate data, perform real-time and predictive analytics on device data and extend business processes within enterprise applications. The Oracle Internet of Things Cloud helps users to build IoT applications for preventive maintenance and asset tracking using pre-built integrations with Oracle PaaS, third-party and Oracle SaaS applications.

The platform provides intuitive tools to design, activate, and monitor integrations between the cloud and on-premises Oracle and third-party applications. Its simple graphical interface allows dragging and dropping of application adapters to develop integrations. Oracle Integration Cloud Service is protected by design-time and runtime security to ensure that only authorized users can access the web console at design time or invoke Oracle Integration Cloud Service integrations at runtime.

The Oracle SOA Cloud Service offers new capabilities including B2B integration and Managed File Transfer, with enterprise scheduler, business activity monitoring and event processing to give enterprises a unified cloud-based integration platform that simplifies management, upgrades automatically, and supports hybrid integration.

By providing a rich user experience, Oracle API Manager Cloud Service enables developers to create and make APIs available to internal or external consumers in a secure way for developing new solutions for end users and help organizations in accelerating innovation through improved API visibility and management and analytics.

"The IT architectures that organizations have relied on for decades do not provide the business agility demanded by the digital present. To stay competitive, organizations need to rethink API management and service integration across cloud, mobile and IoT initiatives. With Oracle Cloud Platform's comprehensive suite of integration services, we are able to help our customers increase business agility by improving productivity, lowering costs, and ultimately accelerating innovation," says Amit Zavery, senior vice president of Cloud Platform and Integration products, Oracle.
